Who this covers

Pure AI is a customer-messaging platform used by businesses. Two groups of people appear here: the business and its team, who use Pure AI, and the customers who message that business on a connected channel such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram or TikTok. The business decides what it collects from its customers and remains responsible for those conversations; Pure AI processes them on the business’s behalf.

What we store

For the business and its team: name, email address, role and permissions, and a record of actions taken in the product. For customers who message a business: the messages exchanged, the identifier the channel gives us for that person (for example a phone number or a platform user id), any display name the channel provides, and records the business creates from the conversation such as orders or notes. We do not buy data, and we do not combine one business’s data with another’s.

Connected channels

When a business connects a channel, it authorises Pure AI to receive that channel’s incoming messages and to send replies on its behalf. The access token this produces is encrypted at rest and used only for that business’s traffic. We request the narrowest access that makes the product work — reading and sending messages. We do not post content, manage advertising, or read follower or analytics data. A business can disconnect a channel at any time, which stops new messages immediately while leaving its existing history readable.

Automated replies

A business may enable AI-assisted replies. When it does, message content is sent to an AI provider to produce a suggested or automatic response. Replies are grounded in knowledge the business has approved; when a question falls outside it, the assistant does not invent an answer — it sends a configured fallback and hands the conversation to a person. The underlying AI provider is not exposed to customers. A business can turn this off entirely, or per conversation.

Separation between businesses

Every record is scoped to the business that owns it, and that scope is enforced on every read and write, not only in the interface. One business cannot see another’s conversations, customers, or orders.

Retention and deletion

Conversation history is kept while the business keeps its account, so its team can see what was said. A business can ask us to delete its data, and we will remove it from our systems. Some records may persist briefly in backups before ageing out. If you are a customer who messaged a business and you want your data removed, contact that business — it controls the conversation. They can act on it, and we will help them.
